North Austin has a whole new place to bowl as Austin’s Park recently added 10 lanes of bowling! Along with the new addition, they have opened up a bar & grill that serves some yummy new bites, making Austin’s Park a fun date spot as well as a great place for family entertainment.
Opening right before Christmas, I had the opportunity to try out the digs when my family helped film a commercial with The Daytripper, Chet Garner for Austin’s Park.
Bowling was fun, with cool interactive screens and all new bowling equipment – this ain’t your Grandpa’s bowling league friends!

But what we were most impressed with was the new Bar & Grill. We tried their new street tacos – comes in your choice of beef, chicken, or shrimp. Quite honestly, I didn’t expect them to be so tasty! And don’t worry, if your family still enjoys the all-you-can-eat pizza buffet, it’s still there!

Austin’s Park offers all the same fun for families – go-karts, laser tag, miniature golf, rock-wall, and a plethora of video games – but I love that they are now open for fun date nights as well. Nad the best part? They do not charge for entrance anymore! Parents can come in to watch their kids play without having to pay an entrance fee anymore.
And as for shooting the commercial? SO MUCH FUN!
