Friday Daydreamin’: Trip Mascots

August 30, 2013 by Rebecca Darling

Spread the love
Happy Friday friends! Time for Friday Daydreamin’!
After a few weeks taken off this summer (In case you haven’t heard, I went on a “little” road trip), Friday Daydreamin’ is back!
Join us each Friday by linking up your favorite travel post of the week!
I love this link-up party because I get to learn & see so much travel through the eyes of all my fellow travel bloggers.  I have learned so many amazing things and seen some gorgeous pictures thanks to y’all sharing your travels here.  I hope you continue to do so.
On our Bigger Than Texas Road Trip this summer, we took on a little mascot – Our State Farm puppy, named Tex went everywhere with us – from the Grand Canyon to Disneyland to Las Vegas.  He saw just as many sites as we did!!  He even had his own hashtag on Facebook & Instagram (#sftex).
Do you take a memento or stuffed pet form home on your travels??
Link up your favorite travel post on this week’s Friday Daydreamin’. Take a few minutes to look at some of your fellow traveler’s posts and dream up your next vacation!

That’s a cute idea. The kids take loveys on vacation, but we haven’t taken pictures with them. Looking forward to your linkup. My linked post is a few weeks old, but it was completely inspired by the RWTYM roadtrip. All your posts inspired me to ask my mom-in-law about her own childhood roadtrips.

So glad to have Friday Daydreamin’ and you back, Becca. You still amaze me with what you accomplished on that awesome roadtrip. I didn’t get to meet Tex 🙁 I’m so happy to have met you and your family and it was so inspirational to follow you guys along on your trip. No mascots for us but now thinking about it.

Do you have a connection with State Farm? Curious about the stuffed animal you took along on your road trip.

Your mascot is so cute. We have taken a Flat Traveler on a couple occasions but I’ve never thought of a mascot- unless you consider our pet dog. 🙂

    Glad Friday Daydreamin’ is back!

What a fun way to document your trip! I love the picture of him looking at the Disneyland castle!
