Disclosure: This is a sponsored post by the Hilton Anatole. All opinions are my own, especially when I tell you that I can not wait to see Sparkle! at the Anatole. That is completely true.
One of the most exciting Holiday events coming to Dallas this year will be Sparkle! Christmas at the Anatole. The events begin on Friday, November 28, 2014 and last through Sunday, January 4, 2014. Sparkle! launched in 2013 as part of the hotel’s Christmas at the Anatole holiday attraction, and this year will move all of its festivities inside its Trinity Hall where guests will be able to enjoy a winter wonderland at a comfortable 70 degrees.
We are excited to see Sparkle! this year to spend time on the indoor ice skating rink meant to resemble a scenic pond. I can almost picture a wintry pond up north with the millions of holiday lights both indoors and strewn throughout the 7-acre garden surrounding the Anatole.
The folks at Hilton took it a step further in planning Sparkle! They wanted to make this a true “family” experience, so they brought in a group of “professionals” to help make final decisions. Get this – they asked a Children’s Advisory Panel of 15 children ages 3 through 9 what details would make a “Sparkle!” event perfect. You will see the few must-haves from the group (hot chocolate, Santa and bounce houses to name a few) and know that many of the “Sparkle!” activities you can enjoy were due to those “pros.” I love that they asked the kids!
What was added? A spectacular light show to takes place every half-hour in the facility, new food truck vendors, crafts, a Velcro jump wall, Geppetto’s Theatre and Workshop, and even a slide towering 12 feet high fashioned after “A Christmas Story” to go down after meeting with Santa himself. WOW!

I am considering doing this. I hated the lines at the Gaylord, is this less difficult?
Also, I’ll be around your area in a few days.
