From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes the most anticipated movie of the fall, Moana is out November 23, 2016. Ever since the announcement, my daughter & I were excited to see this new Disney princess and her story. And it seems the whole world is just as excited! Here’s 9 Things that will get you excited about Disney’s Moana!
Moana is the 16-year-old daughter of the chief of Motunui who sails out on a daring mission to save her people. Along the way, Moana meets the mighty demigod Maui, who is on his own journey of self-discovery. He reluctantly guides Moana in her quest to save her people. Together, they encounter enormous monsters and impossible odds, and along the way, Moana discovers the one thing she’s always sought: her own identity.
Moana is voiced by 16-year-old newcomer, Auli‘i Carvalho, and Maui by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. With music by Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton anyone?), this is going to be an unbelievable movie.
