Be prepared to laugh your way through the quick production. No matter what your age, you will be delighted by the way the story is told. My 4 year old was entranced, giggling his way through. It was the perfect length as well – before anyone started getting wiggly.
As with all the ZACH Theatre productions, the acting is superb. Sally & The Boy were perfect as overwhelmed hosts of the crazy Cat in the Hat. The Fish was bossy and Thing 1 & Thing 2 made you laugh out-loud with their mischievousness.
Truth be told, even my middle schooler enjoyed the show! We are so lucky to have a theater company, such as the ZACH, that performs in such a fun, intimate setting awesome shows like this.
The Cat in the Hat is performed on Saturdays & Sundays for the general public. Tickets are available here. This performance is also being seen by over 15,000 area students over the next 2 months, 50% of them being from low economic area schools thanks to the generous funding of the Friends of Education program.
