Children’s Medical Center Holiday Parade

A family tradition, we love the Children’s Medical Center Holiday Parade!  Filled with Holiday characters, marching bands, celebrities, and big floating balloons, this parade puts you in the holiday spirit.  Buy reserved seats in advance or just grab a curb (get there early!) – it’s a must do on your holiday list!

November 23, 2013 – January 5, 2014
For 26 years, children of all ages have been thrilled to see the amazing holiday train display at NorthPark Center.  Benefitting the Ronald McDonald House, there is over 1600 feet of track that cross the USA, including downtown Dallas!

This classic tale comes to life with Texas Ballet Theater in 2 different locations.  It’s the perfect family traditional Christmas show. Get your tickets now.  And don’t forget to look into the Nutty Nutcracker – a PG-13 version of the show – I hear it’s a riot!

The Dallas Arboretum has several fun events to get you in the Holiday Spirit!  Over 400 angels will grace the halls of the DeGolyer Mansion, and weekend visits with Santa Claus, his reindeer, Frosty & Rudolph. With the gorgeous gardens, this is an excellent place to capture a holiday picture!

The Gaylord Texan takes Christmas celebrations to an all new level!  Their massive ICE! featuring Nutcracker, display is enough but then they add in Kung Fu Panda Awesome Snow Tubing,  Gingy’s Gingerbread Decorating, the amazing decorations throughout the resort and more and this is one heck of a fun activity!
