Who’s excited to see Disney’s newest live-action princess movie, Beauty and the Beast? It’s not out until March 17, 2017, but there are plenty of teasers out there to get us excited to see it! Here are 5 things you need to know about Beauty and the Beast.
Following the success of Maleficent, Cinderella, and The Jungle Book, the announcement of Walt Disney Studios bringing Beauty and the Beast to life was met with great excitement. I remember watching the original animated feature in the theaters as a teenager and fell in love with all the music. We memorized all the songs but the time it came out on VHS. And when it came out as a Broadway musical, was thrilled to see the story played out on stage.
Needless to say, I am very excited to see the movie and have already bought tickets for the March 17 showing.

Celine Dion sings an original song in Beauty and the Beast
Five-time GRAMMY® winning and best-selling recording artist Celine Dion will perform an all-new original song, “How Does A Moment Last Forever,” for the movie. If you recall, Dion originally performed the duet “Beauty and the Beast” with Peabo Bryson for the animated film. So it it really cool that she is back to sing another song.
Ariana Grande and John Legend perform the main title together
The newest trailer just released this week gave us a sneak peek of the newest couple to sing “Beauty and the Beast” – Ariana Grande & John Legend. I think they sound pretty good y’all. I can’t wait to hear the full version.
