This was our longest day driving so far. And hopefully our longest until we head home from Illinois in August.
It was suppose to take 9 and a half hours from hotel to hotel – thanks wonderful, amazing GPS Nav system in the Kia Sedona. But in typical Rebecca fashion, when something catches my eye, we pull over.
Like this peach in South Carolina. Anyone who is a fan of House of Cards should recognize this baby. Unfortunately, the only good place to park and take a picture showed the backside of the peach, which my kids promptly said looked like a butt. Nice.
We also liked to stop at every state sign and visitor center….
Unfortunately, right before we crossed the border from North Carolina to Virginia, it started raining – so our mascot – Little Jake Travels stood in for our normal state sign shot.
