Bricks 4 Kidz ~ Round Rock/Cedar Park/North Austin

February 27, 2013 by Rebecca Darling

Spread the love
As a mom of 2 boys, I always seem to struggle to find a unique & fun place to have my boys birthday parties at.  There are only so many bounce house place parties one parent can go to after all……
That is why I was thrilled to learn that Bricks 4 Kidz is soon opening up a Creativity Center in Round Rock.  Bricks 4 Kidz programs let kids use LEGO® bricks, motors and remote controls to explore basic principles of engineering, architecture, science and history. And the Creativity Center will be a permanent location to hold various classes and host birthday parties.
Kristena Bins- Turner, a mom of 4 who was looking for unique social activities for her special-needs son, is the brains behind bringing Bricks 4 Kidz to Round Rock.  Not finding much to offer, she learned about Brick 4 Kidz online and decided it was a perfect fit for the Austin area.  The Turner family found an ideal spot to open the Creativity Center in Round Rock.  “We love LEGOs as a family.” commented Bins-Turner, “and the programs and physical location (of the creativity center) help spark the creativity!”
Starting in March, your child can attend after-school and evening classes at the Creativity Center.  Led by experienced instructors and specific curriculum, classes will also be available for preschoolers (Mommy & Me!), home-schoolers, scouts, and more.
Additionally, kids can celebrate their Birthday at Bricks 4 Kidz.  The center will close for the party and a host will lead the guests through fun, creative LEGO-based games and activities.  Remember how I said at the beginning how I struggled to find unique places to host boys birthdays?? Not anymore!
Twice a month, Bricks 4 Kids will be hosting Kidz Night Out, where parents can drop their child off in a safe environment and they can experience a high energy evening full of LEGO-building fun.

Bricks 4 Kidz will also be offering camps during school breaks and the summer.  Their summer camp brochure is available and they are already accepting registration.  Everything from Robotics to Movie Making is offered.

Bricks 4 Kidz are celebrating their Grand Opening with a week of Open House events, March 11-17.  “Come visit us, meet our instructors, and play with our amazing assortment of LEGO(R) bricks, motors and remote controls.”  All activities are FREE but classes have limited seating, so registration is required. Click here to learn more.

Now I fully recognize that there will be just as many happy girls as boys excited to see Bricks 4 Kidz opening.  There are lots of opportunities for the girls to enjoy themselves too!

But mainly, it’s the moms & dads of these kiddos who are excited to see this new opportunity come to the Austin area!  We will be there for their Grand Opening!!!
