Christmas at Hilton Anatole Dallas Featuring Peppermint Park

December 9, 2019 by Rebecca Darling

Spread the love

This Christmas, visit the North Pole without leaving Texas! Hilton Anatole in Dallas invites hotel guests and the community at large to visit Peppermint Park, a winter holiday festival that is a blast for families.

Peppermint Park

Last weekend, I took my kids to stay at Hilton Anatole and experience the massive hotel’s immersive holiday experience, Peppermint Park. Guests of the hotel can visit Peppermint Park for free to enjoy holiday shows and entertainment, light displays, a Snow Globe photo op, and visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus. For those not staying at the hotel, admission is available for a fee.

Once inside Peppermint Park, there are attractions galore to enjoy. It would take about four hours to try all of the children’s games, crafts, and activities, from North Pole Mini Putt Golf to Santa’s Toy Shop Escape Room. Coupons for activities cost $1 each, or you can purchase a Golden Ticket or FunPass online. Hotel guests receive $20 off all passes.

As guests of Hilton Anatole, we received Golden Ticket wristbands, which allowed us to try all of the games and activities. Here were a few of my kids’ favorites.

Christmas at the Anatole
Teddy Bear Factory, run by a happy, helpful fairy!

My daughter loved making her own sparkly unicorn at the Teddy Bear Factory. She then got a matching pony painted on her forehead at the Sparkle Face Painting Booth.

Next, we headed to the North Pole Mail Station to write a letter to Santa. The friendly postal worker called ahead to check that my daughter was on the nice list before helping her to mail her letter.

Making Grinch Slime.

My daughter also loved making Grinch Slime, painting a birdhouse, jumping in Snowman’s Bounce House, decorating holiday cookies, and playing mini-golf before capping off the evening on the Holiday Train.

Meanwhile, my boys could not get enough of the Winter Holiday Game Arcade. They tried each game, conquered the escape room, and headed straight back to the open-air arcade.

Every game they played rewarded them with wooden tokens that they could redeem for prizes in the Toy Shop.

After three hours, plenty of prizes, and bellies full of funnel cake and hot chocolate, we were all a little worn out from the fun. It was so nice to be able to walk back to our hotel room and crash. We needed to get straight to bed because we had big plans the next morning. We were going to have breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Claus!
