Who has seen Disney Picture’s Cinderella? This magical fairy tale is completely sigh-worthy. From the opulent costumes – that blue ball gown!! – to the gorgeous settings – to Richard Madden’s turn as the Prince – all extremely sigh-worthy to this mom.
So I can only imagine how great of a movie it was for the children. I have a 13 year old daughter – that’s my only girl – and she couldn’t wait to see Cinderella, so we gathered all her girlfriends together for a mom/daughter date to see Cinderella the night it came out. All of these girls thought it was a magical movie. I guess it shows that the essence of Cinderella has no age-limit.
And what an incredible message for these girls to hear- “Have courage, and be kind.” You remember 13. One of the most awkward years growing up, we all need to be reminded to be kind to one another and to have courage to go fro your dreams. Bravo Disney!
