Happy Friday friends! Time for Friday Daydreamin’! My favorite day of the week as I get to armchair vacation through all of your lovely photos!!
Such a sad Friday in our house – it’s the last day of summer break, the last Friday before we head back to school on Monday. And as excited as we are to start another great school year, we tearfully reminisce on the AMAZING summer we have had.
We experienced new zoos, met a pet goat who acted like a dog, got a few too many sunburns, and ate some crazy good food (horseshoes anyone?). We buried our Daddy in the sand, bonded with a new baby cousin, almost got pecked by an ostrich, and stood underneath a T-Rex. We hunted for the world’s tallest Superman, drew on walls in our hotel room, rode on 6 different trains, and took lots and lots of pictures. We can’t wait to tell you all about it!!
In the meantime, I’ll leave you with one of our favorite pictures from the summer……
As summer comes to a close where ever you are, share a favorite picture of the summer with us – tell us your favorite experience this summer!! We’d love to hear it! Link up below and visit a few others!

Very sweet photo! It still feels like summer to me, but we have a few years to go until my little one is in school ๐

What a sweet photo! Beautiful family. I taught first grade before staying home with Bergen so I’m a little sad to be out of the back-to-school loop…not too sad though ๐

It was fun to follow along on your summer journeys. I still get a little sad when it’s “Back to School” time — even though it’s been a LONG, LONG time. ๐

Hi Rebecca! Thank you for letting me link up to your blog. It looks like I will need to spend a few hours going through your posts trying to figure out where we should go next.
Where did you take the family picture on the beach? We have yet to check out the TX coastline but it is on our TX bucket list.
