Friday Daydreamin’: Happy Birthday to my Travel Girl!

April 5, 2013 by Rebecca Darling

Spread the love
Happy Friday friends! Time for Friday Daydreamin’!
Join us each Friday by linking up your favorite travel post of the week and I will do my best to see them all over the weekend.  I hope you will take a few minutes and visit some of the link ups too.
I love this link-up party because I get to learn & see so much travel through the eyes of all my fellow travel bloggers.  I have learned so many amazing things and seen some gorgeous pictures thanks to y’all sharing your travels here.  I hope you continue to do so.
Today we celebrate my oldest’s 12th birthday, so I’m daydreaming about all the fun travel we have done with her.

She’s been to Disney World quite a lot but this was her first trip and the smile says it all…..

Her first trip to a “big” city involved her first taxi ride, the top of the tallest building she has ever been in, and Chicago pizza…..

Always up for adventure, she will try anything – roller coasters, skiing, and anything in the ocean!

And she takes after her momma in the love of anything kitchy and pop-culture-y.

I love that we have traveled extensively with her since she was small – she is adventurous and loves to explore new things.  She loves learning history and “seeing” where it took place.  She is flexible and ready to always be on the go.  She is a perfect little traveler!!  Can’t wait to see where we go next!
What are you daydreamin’ about today?  Link up your favorite travel post of the week and spend some time getting to know your “neighbors”!

Happy birthday! I love that she is adventurous and open to new things! I think taking kids traveling while young helps them to be more confident to try new things! I know my son is also very adventurous :). Hope you are having a fabulous day!
