Happy Friday friends! Time for Friday Daydreamin’! We took a few weeks off in December to focus on the holiday but we are BACK and I hope you will join up with us this year for a whole new “Friday Daydreamin‘!”!!
Join us each Friday by linking up your favorite travel post of the week and I will do my best to see them all over the weekend. I hope you will take a few minutes and visit some of the link ups too.
I love this link-up party because I get to learn & see so much travel through the eyes of all my fellow travel bloggers. I have learned so many amazing things and seen some gorgeous pictures thanks to y’all sharing your travels here. I hope you continue to do so.
On to my traveling…..
It is cold here in Texas this week. That coupled with my cold-natured-ness and I am longing for some sunny weather.
So I just popped open my iPhoto and took a quick look at some pictures from the beach.
Can’t you just feel the sun on your skin? The warm gulf waters? Smell the salt? Feel the sand?? Ahh, I’m warm already!!!
Call me a wimp, but I’ll take the sunny, hot temps any day…..that’s why I live in Texas y’all…..
Link up your favorite travel post of the week and take some time to visit all the great ones too!

What fun and great pictures! Yes, I can feel the warmth coming through the screen. I’m a wimp too…I love the sun too much and that’s why I’m so glad to live in Southern CA.

I’ll take hot over cold any day! Well, a week of snow and skiing would be fine, but I don’t think I could actually live somewhere it snows.

Oh, that water looks fantastic! I could jump right in.

So tonight I am off on a plane to Winnipeg – a prairie city – in the depths of winter. It will be a low of -25C tonight, -35C on Monday but I;ll be gone when that happens. It is so far removed from what’s happening in your photos!! I’ll be skating on the longest natural ice rink in Canada and xcountry skiing in the Canadian shield but I look forward to warmer days ahead.

Ohhhh how I wish we had some warm weather right now. I guess I better count my blessings it isn’t raining though. LOL

Great photos! I would love to be somewhere warm right about now. Started snowing here in Toronto last night. And continuing all throughout the weekend and next week! I need a beach vacation ASAP 🙂

*Sigh* That beach looks just perfect. I’d probably even take a beach in SoCal or Florida right now in temperatures that I’m sure the locals consider way too cold to go to the beach. Anything not covered in snow would be absolutely perfect right now.
Thanks for hosting Becca.

Loved your photos. Yeah, I’m thinking about warm places right now too – the temps here went from mid-30s to close to zero, with colder weather coming! Stay warm!
