My hubby isn’t a first-timer though – he has been on a few “guys trips” skiing before. I never had a desire to go, so he always went with friends. The opportunity arose for us to go as a family and the kids have been dying to learn how to ski, so we jumped on it! Breckenridge, Colorado –> Here we come!!

Love to ski!!! Have a blast! Hope your kids don’t freak you out with their daredevil ways. The first time I took my son skiing, he told me this is how you ski… He squatted down, pushed off and down the hill he went; literally flying, straight down. Scared the heck outta me!! My husband had to go chase him down haha. Can’t wait to read about it!

Sounds like you’ll have a fun trip! My 17 year old got a job as a snowboard instructor this year and he’s been dying to visit some resorts out West. The hills here in Ohio just aren’t the same as the hills in Colorado. 🙂
We’re on the same wave length! I just bout and set up a new snowboard. I haven’t been on in over 10 years so I’ll probably have to pick up a helmet first!
Have fun at Breckenridge! We’re skiing in the next couple of weeks, too at Lake Tahoe. I’m not a great skier, but I enjoy every minute of it. I especially enjoy lunch outside at the summit on a sunny day.
I’m such a bad Canadian. I actually don’t like the snow or cold and haven’t been skiing or snowboarding in many years. 😉
My husband loves winter sports and my kids seem to love being outdoors in the winter too so I have a feeling I will have to get back on the slopes eventually.

I fit into the “bad Canadian” category with Cheryl. Really do not like winter or the cold. That’s way I spend my winters in SEA!!
I would love to go skiing too! Unfortunately, there’s no snow in the Philippines 😀
