Happy Friday friends! Time for Friday Daydreamin’!
Join us each Friday by linking up your favorite travel post of the week and I will do my best to see them all over the weekend. I hope you will take a few minutes and visit some of the link ups too.
I love this link-up party because I get to learn & see so much travel through the eyes of all my fellow travel bloggers. I have learned so many amazing things and seen some gorgeous pictures thanks to y’all sharing your travels here. I hope you continue to do so.
This past week, I said goodbye to the man who instilled in me the love of travel. My 91-year old Grandpa traveled all his life, from serving in Africa & Italy in WWII, to have a successful career with the United States Air Force, to packing up the old Winnebago when her retired and roaming all over North America with my Grandma. This man loved to travel and see new sites.
He would take me on trips (see the cute blonde?? That’s me!) and my love for road tripping was born.
This summer we are planning a big road trip out west. And I’m dedicating it to him – the man who taught me how to explore and love to travel!
Have a great post on travel you’d like to share this week? Please link it up – I’ll do my best to visit and share it this next week!

That’s such a touching story. It’s interesting to look back at the lessons our parents taught us without us ever knowing! And to remember them too.

Some of my best memories of family are trips we took together. So nice to look back and remember those good times after they are gone. Sorry for your loss… I linked up our family wild west road trip we took last summer. Hopefully it is some good information for your road trip west. 🙂
