My mother-in-law picked up Osmo a few years back and it is the most requested toy at her house by her grandkids – even my older two like to play it. This educational toy works with an iPad and is good for all ages. There are other kits to choose from with various themes as well.

My kids just discovered this game and they LOVE it – Tenzi is a fast-moving dice game that just about any age can play. We had a great time with the whole family at Thanksgiving playing a variety of games with our Tenzi dice.

We have a few of these Little Explorers books at home and they are fantastic for curious new readers. Full of detailed pages and flaps that lift up, this makes for a great gift. There are several themes to choose from.
My oldest son really enjoys putting together these VEX Robotic toys by HEXBUG. He loves working through the instructions and putting together something that is motorized. All the VEX toys are durable and affordable.
