What if there was a place. A secret place. Where nothing was impossible. A miraculous place. Where you could actually change the world. You wanna go?
Two weeks ago, I opened an email that rocked my blogging world.
Hello Rebecca!
We would like to invite you to a very special Disney hosted event for TOMORROWLAND next month – exclusively for our top Bloggers!
You wanna go?
The Invitation to the Tomorrowland Event
I never in a million years imagined that blogging could lead me to such fun & amazing experiences such at the Towmorowland Event. I have been richly blessed in this career that I have chosen to build for myself. Who would have thought that writing about places to go & things to do with kids could lead to some of the amazing travel opportunities I have had this year. And now this? I am beyond amazed.
Also, I find it incredibly fitting that back in January while researching all the upcoming movies for 2015, the one I was most excited to see was Tomorrowland. I am fascinated with the future. I love movies & books that deal with it. And no lie y’all —–> My favorite land at Magic Kingdom & Disneyland has always been Tomorrowland. The People Mover got me every time, imagining what the future would be like.
What is the Tomorrowland Event?
So what exactly will we be doing at the Tomorrowland Event? First, we get to see the movie weeks before it is released on May 22, 2015. And then we have the opportunity to interview cast & crew of the movie. This movie is filled with an amazing cast —> Hugh Laurie, of House, Tim McGraw, country singer, & Britt Robertson, of Under the Dome and most recently, The Longest Ride. And then there’s George.
George Clooney, as in need-no-introduction George Clooney. But just for the record, I remember him on Facts of Life and started really loving him on ER.
Lastly, as if it couldn’t get any better, Tomorrowland features a screenplay by “Lost” writer and co-creator Damon Lindelof and Brad Bird. Knowing the twists & turns that Lost provided us with, I know this is going to be one amazing movie.
A Visit to the Disney Archives & Tomorrowland
While in Los Angeles for the Tomorrowland Event, we will visit the Disney Archives to learn about Walt’s vision of Tomorrowland (EEK!!). For over four decades, the Walt Disney Archives has carefully safeguarded the most treasured items from Disney’s fabled history. To have the opportunity to see the history of Tomorrowland is enough to make my head spin. Seriously. It’s not every day you get to see how the magic all began.
And of course, our trip continues with a visit to the place that inspired it all —> Disneyland! We will visit the original Tomorrowland and have a chance to see attractions such as Space Mountain, a thrilling high-speed journey through outer space; Star Tours: The Adventures Continue, a 3-D motion simulated space flight with more than 50 different story combinations, and Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, an interactive adventure through the world of Buzz Lightyear.
And starting in mid-April, Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort is offering park guests a 12-minute sneak peek of Tomorrowland. Guests will also enjoy an impressive exhibit that features the making of the movie with props, concept artwork and photos from the filming of the movie plus exclusive images from the Disney Archives. The sneak peek and exhibit will open April 17 in Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park and on April 18 in Future World at Epcot and will be available to the public for a limited time.

Please all so note Hugh Laurie is a singer too. He has got 2 albums out and his first one “Let Them Talk” is fast selling album on iTunes ever.
I hope you get some info on David Nix because he hasn’t been in the promos very much.
Thank you
