Another summer blockbuster, Walt Disney Studios presents The BFG, in theaters July 1, 2016. A new The BFG trailer was just released and I wanted to share it with you.
The World is More Giant than you can Imagine.
I have read The BFG to each one of my children. Truth be told, I’ve read every one of Roald Dahl’s masterful books to my kids, but we have always had a certain fondness towards The BFG.
It’s such a heartwarming tale of unlikely friends, discovery of each other’s strengths and courage. It’s an exciting tale with a little bit of a thrill and makes for a fantastic children’s story. And I’m thrilled they are making it into a movie!
Ever since we heard it was coming out, my kids have been keeping their eyes peeled for the trailer and you better believe my daughter scooped me on this new one. Here is the most recent The BFG trailer:
The talents of three of the world’s greatest storytellers – Roald Dahl, Walt Disney and Steven Spielberg – finally unite to bring Dahl’s beloved classic “The BFG” to life. Directed by Spielberg, Disney’s “The BFG” tells the imaginative story of a young girl and the Giant who introduces her to the wonders and perils of Giant Country.
I’m not going to give too much away now, but encourage you to pick up the book before the movie comes out on July 1 and read it with your kiddos!
