SeaWorld San Antonio kicks off their 2015 Season with “Wild Days” weekends with special guests and lots of fun events planned. Wild Days weekends will spotlight amazing animals and globally-recognized animal conservationists in special shows at the Nautilus Amphitheater. This five weekends of fun will feature animal experts, including Bindi Irwin and “Jungle Jack” Hanna.
I’m super excited about Bindi Irwin coming to SeaWorld San Antonio, as my kids have watched her on tv for years. Her experience & maturity makes her such a good role model for kids. Irwin will host Generation Nature LIVE on Saturday, February 21, and Sunday, February 22. She will headline a high-energy, fun-filled show designed to inspire kids to become “Game Changers for Nature.” Families can play interactive games to uncover their family’s “Nature IQ,” enjoy special appearances by some of SeaWorld’s favorite animal ambassadors and learn how they can take action to make a big difference for wildlife. A special “Dine with Bindi Irwin” opportunity also will be available for park guests.
“Jungle Jack” Hanna will be there for two days of wild animal shows and autograph signings when he visits on Saturday, February 14, and Sunday, February 15. A special Valentine’s Day “Dine with Jack Hanna” will be available on Saturday, February 14 – enjoy an all-you-can-eat barbecue meal at Ports-of-Call for $19.99 plus tax for adults and $14.99 plus tax for children (age 3-9). Advanced reservations are required. Park admission is required, but not included.
Other Wild Days Weekends include:
Saturday, January 31, and Sunday, February 1: “Wild Days: SeaWorld Live! with Chuck Cureau” – SeaWorld San Antonio’s own animal expert and TV personality Chuck Cureau will host a show with fascinating animals and amazing stories of rescue, rehabilitation and preservation.
Saturday, February 7, and Sunday, February 8: “Wild Days: Amazing Animals” – A professor and his students will go on a quest to learn about live animals including wallabies, alligators, porcupines, snakes and other intriguing species.
Saturday, February 28, and Sunday, March 1: “Wild Days: Flying High” – This live show will introduce guests to some feathered friends from “Last Chance Forever,” an organization dedicated to the rehabilitation and release of sick, injured and orphaned birds of prey into their natural habitats.
SeaWorld San Antonio gives us even more fun reasons to visit the park in January & February. We went the last week of December and it was a gorgeous day. We took our time and went to some of the shows we don’t normally go to in the summer. Plan a weekend for your family!
