With May 4th being the well-known day of all things Star Wars, we have come up with a list of fun ways to celebrate Star Wars Day. If you have little ones (or not-so little ones) in the house who love the Star Wars franchise, this post is for you. Here are 14 Fun Ways to Celebrate Star Wars Day.
My life has been taken over by Star Wars in the last 6 months. Ever since the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, my kids have been obsessed with all things Star Wars. We actually saw the movie in the theater 3 times and now we have watched the DVD a gazillion times, so much so that my 6 year old can quote it.
And speaking of that 6 year old, he had me buy a Kylo Ren costume before Star Wars: The Force Awakens even came out. And has preceded to wear it anyplace he can, including to Walt Disney World last week. Y’all, he wouldn’t even sign up to do the Jedi Training Academy at Disney’s Hollywood Studios because it involved fighting against the Dark Side……
However, he did get to lead a group of Stormtroopers, which can I say was the HIGHLIGHT of our trip!
I grew up loving Star Wars, so I am embracing that my kids are too. And I think it’s fun that we have a day to celebrate Star Wars – May the 4th.
Because you know….. May the Fourth Be With You…….
get it?
In honor of Star wars Day, Hasbro sent me 2 very fun Star Wars toys to try out and it got me thinking of fun & easy ways to celebrate Star Wars Day.

Star Wars Day: Hasbro Star Wars Toys
My 6 year old was thrilled to see that I had been sent the Nerf First Order Stormtrooper Deluxe Blaster and the Bladebuilders Luke Skywalker Electronic Lightsaber from Hasbro to review. Both were very easy to get out of the box (no screwed in parts – yay!) and were assembled and ready to play with in minutes.
All of us took a turn on the Nerf First Order Stormtrooper Deluxe Blaster. It comes with a package of 12 darts and a clip to put them in, which makes it really easy to keep up with loose nerd darts. It shoots pretty far, even my hubby took a turn with it.
The Bladebuilders Luke Skywalker Electronic Lightsaber extends with a quick flick of the wrist and lights up and makes all the fun lightsaber noises. My son was thrilled because he has had lightsabers in the past, but none of them could fold up easily, making it portable to take to a friend’s house. I like the Bladebuilders line of lightsabers because you can buy separate additions in the line to fully customize your lightsaber.
Pick up some fun Hasbro Star Wars toys and have your own battle in the backyard!
