My kids are home for 2 whole weeks this Winter Break. I’m not complaining about that ONE bit. I love having my kids home, as it makes me more purposeful to walk away from the computer and do something with them. And when we were invited to try out Main Event, I thought it was a fun way to start our break.
Main Event in Austin
Main Event Entertainment is located in North Austin off Highway 183. They have a TON of activities for every age:
Bowling is fun at Main Event. They have black lights, lasers and fun music that brings it up a notch – this isn’t your uncle’s bowling league (though they do have a busy bowling league you can sign up for!!).
There are several different levels of rock wall climbing at Main Event. From beginners to advance, you can even buy a pass to get you climbing more.
I can’t believe this was my first time taking my kids to play laser tag! You forget how much fun it can be to run around in the dark trying to tag your kids!!
Main Event also have glow golf, pool tables, a bar & grill, and GAMES. Tons of games that my kids loved to play. Especially the CLAW games:

· FUNleagues are non-competitive 8 week bowling leagues with teams of at least four people. They’re a great way to socialize with family and friends, and Main Event has a league that is perfect for everyone:
o Sunday 5 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. (Family-friendly)
o Mondays 10 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. (Late night crowd)
o Tuesday 7 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
o Wednesday 7 p.m. – 9:30 p.m (Blue Moon® Bowl)
o Thursdays 7 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
· Cost is only $8 per person, per week for 8 weeks (plus $1.50 for shoe rental).
