Happy Holidays! Shopping for a traveler in your life? I have a few ideas for you. Follow me over the next few days for some fun ideas of great products we have discovered this year that make awesome Holiday gifts!
I take photos every where we go. It’s my way of preserving the sites I am seeing and of course, to share with my readers. As I do a lot of traveling as the solo parent, most of the time, I am not in the photos. My kids are cute, but every once in a while, it would be nice to get a family shot.
This fall, while at a blogging conference, I was introduced to the XShot 2.0 for GoPro, an extendable “stick” for GoPro cameras. What intrigued me about the XShot 2.0, was the adapter you could buy for your mobile phone. While you can easily find a camera extender for a GoPro, most do not have the ability to fit your mobile phone to take pictures, selfies, or even video.
Now with Mobile Phone Holder and the XShot 2.0, I have the ability to take photos with my family anywhere we travel. We don’t have to rely on strangers to take our photo. And with the extender reaching out 38 inches, it allows us to take photos from a unique angle, without our arm extended out in an awkward position.
I have used it on several trips this fall with my iPhone and loved how easy it was to take pictures. With the new iOS, there is a built in timer in iPhoto to take selfies with. If you don’t have a iPhone, there are several free apps with built in timers as well.
The Mobile Phone Holder slightly stretches to fit the size of the mobile phone – I have an iPhone 5s and felt like my phone was always secure.
It works well with a GoPro camera as well – attaches securely and extends out. Another thing worth mentioning, the XShot feels durable, as if it will not “bend” or break. It’s a quality product that you can tell will last.
We are planning a big trip this summer and the XShot 2.0 will enable me to create an awesome video journal of our travels. Like this:
